Development Tracks and Session
The 2009 Conference has four Development tracks.  Each track is designed to assist women enhance and develop their leadership skills. Attendees can participate in one track or switch back and forth between tracks.  The four tracks are as follows:

Managing Your Career and Your Life
What is my personal ROI? How does my resume stand up against those of my peers? How do I navigate corporate America? Should I off-ramp or what is the best way to on ramp? How do I balance work and my personal life? These are a few of the questions women face throughout their career, and they are questions that are not always easy to answer.  This track is designed to assist professional women in thinking through some of the questions they will face, while enhancing their decision making skills so that, when faced with those questions, they can determine their own best answer.  For the schedule and description of session topics in this track click here.

Alternatives Careers and Nontraditional MBA Opportunities
What Industry do I want to work in? What company do I want to work for?  What type of position do I want?  Is now the right time to switch my career path? Should I consider being an entrepreneur? Our economic times have many current MBA students and professional women evaluating all of their options and thinking hard about their career path. This Track is designed to assist students who are looking for their internship of first full time position discover potential industries, positions ,and companies that hire MBAs.  This Track will also assist professionals who are thinking about making a career change or just want to learn more about what options are out there.  For the schedule and description of session topics in this track click here.

Networking and Relationship Building Skills
How do I build my network? Is my network large enough? When is the appropriate time to use my one minute drill? Is my one minute drill perfect? How do I leverage my relationships throughout my career? Networking does not come easy; most women attend networking events with a friend or group of friends and never branch out of their known group.  Networking and relationships building are important skills; this track is designed to assist women in building their network, enhancing their pitch, sharpening their communication skills, and leveraging their relationships.   For the schedule and description of session topics in this track click here.

Building your Leadership Style and Brand
What type of leader are you? Does your leadership style reflect your personal brand? Do your peers, boss, and subordinates see you as a leader? As a leader do you deal well with change and crisis management?  In the past women who have adopted the leadership styles of their male counterparts have often been the most successful, yet this is not necessary.  This track will build your own personal brand and leadership style to make you successful by helping you think through whom your mentors should be, assisting you in building your personal brand, teaching you how to maintain your brand and leadership style in tough times, and teaching you about being a well rounded leader at all times.  For the schedule and description of session topics in this track click here.
