2009 -2010 National Leadership VP Opportunities

The Headquarters of the National Association of Women MBAs is searching for four Regional VPs of Membership and Chapter Development and four Regional VPs of Website Development for the 2009-2010 school year. 

Regional VPs of Membership and Chapter Development:  These officers will be in charge of support, strategy, and membership of a portfolio of local chapters. 

Regional VPs of Website Development: These officers will be involved in uploading and drafting materials for the website and helping to manage the NAWMBA brand.

These positions will open up many networking and leadership opportunities to enrich your MBA experience.  Taking part in managing and shaping the strategic direction of an organization with more than 6,000 members is a tremendous learning experience and opportunity that comes up once in a lifetime.  As a Regional VP, you will come into contact with leaders of the business communities and schools across the country.  You will have resources on hand to realize your vision and make an impact on the landscape of the business world.  

Below are the application requirements.  Please note that attendance at monthly meetings, the National Leadership Retreat (April 2nd-6th, 2009) and National Conference 2009 (October 29th -31st, 2009) are required.

Application Process:

Completed applications are due on December 19th. 

First-round telephone interviews will be from January 5th to January 16th, with first-round decisions made by January 19th. 

Second-round telephone interviews will be conducted from February 2nd to February 13th, with final decisions made by February 20th. 

Transitions will occur between March and May and the National Leadership Retreat will be from April 2nd-6th.
