The 2010 Conference Committee, comprised of 10 individuals that includes professionals and students, has the responsibility of developing and delivering a conference experience that focuses on ensuring NAWMBA’s mission is fulfilled. Individuals from our host schools, Pepperdine University, Indiana University and Northeastern University and representatives from our Professional Chapters were selected based on the application process NAWMBA instituted. This group is committed to developing effective programming, marketing the conference to all constituents across the country and creating a seamless flow for all attendees at Conference. Kara Albert, Westminister College Kara Albert is the Director of Corporate & Graduate Relations at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Prior to joining the Career Management team, Kara worked as Fisher’s MBA Recruiting & Admissions Coordinator, the Director of Recruiting for Renaissance Financial in Kansas City and Nebraska, and as a Leadership Consultant for Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity. Kara graduated from Westminster College, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Kara also volunteers as a trainer and leadership development facilitator.

Marini Askia, Marini Askia is an MBA student at The Ohio State University. She is currently serving on the Logistics Committee for the 2010 National Conference and Career Fair.

Dia Ganguly,
Originally hails from the Philadelphia area and has spent the last 10 years switching between the New York and Boston area. Prior to Fisher, Dia worked in global marketing research, with a focus on Asian consumer technology markets. Her avid interest in travel and non-Western history led her to an earlier graduate degree in International Affairs. Here in this picture, she is standing in front of Mt. Arenal in Costa Rica from this past summer. Looking to settle in the Columbus, Ohio area, Dia returned on get her MBA in marketing and strategy.

Alison Guzman, Alison Guzman is a 2011 MBA candidate majoring in marketing. She is currently serving as a member of the sessions planning committee for the National Association of Women MBA’s National Conference in 2010. Prior to school she worked in sales and marketing at Medical Mutual of Ohio. in marketing.

Robin Jenkins, Robin Jenkins is a first year MBA majoring in Finance at the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University. She is from Dayton, Ohio and graduated in Economics and Political Science from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana in 2009. I worked in Edinburgh Scotland for six months about a year ago and would love to go back abroad again someday. in marketing.

Fan Lin, Fan Lin has over six years experience in technical services in telecommunications industry. During this career period, she had been working for Ericsson (China) Communications. She has rich experiences in technical services models and processes, and enjoyed a lot from helping customer solve technical problems and from her team work of network engineering projects. She also loved the frequent business travels that brought her to many different places in China. In 2009, she enrolled in the full-time MBA program of Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. Now she is studying towards a career in supply chain management and enterprise sustainability. In 2001, she got a Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Computer Application from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing, China.

Marlys Rizzi, University of Connecticut Marlys Rizzi is a member of the 2009-2010 Conference Committee and the Chair of the Logistics Committee. Currently, she teaches and works with the University of Connecticut School of Business in the undergraduate and MBA programs at the Stamford, CT location. She earned her BS from Iowa State University and MS in Education from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Wendy Teufel, Wendy Teufel serves as the 2008-09 President of the NAWMBA student chapter for Xavier’s Williams College of Business and as Marketing Chair for the 2009 National Conference Committee. Wendy is expected to earn her MBA in Summer 2010 with a concentration in Marketing.

Jamie Mathews-Mead, Ohio State University Jamie Mathews-Mead is the Senior Director for Graduate Career Management at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. She has worked in the career development field for over 25 years and enjoys working with MBA students who are exploring and seeking internship and career opportunities. As a Certified Career Coach, she also has a limited private practice and specializes in working with women in career transition. She earned her M.A. degree from The Ohio State University, B.A. from Central Michigan University and lives in Upper Arlington, OH with her husband and two daughters, Caroline and Maddy.

Vanessa Tambayong, Vanessa Tambayong is a first year MBA student from Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. She has six years actuarial consulting experience in the defined benefit pension plan. She is very excited to serve as the 2010 National Conference Marketing Committee.
