National Conference and Career Fair The Annual National Conference and Career Fair is a three-day event that embodies all areas of NAWMBA's mission and is dedicated to supporting and developing both students and professional women. This event is the only national event devoted exclusively to women MBAs and graduate women in business. It connects the most talented student MBAs with companies in search of interns and graduating students. Professional women interact with sponsoring companies through networking and coaching events. The conference also promotes professional and personal development through leadership meetings, workshops, industry panels, keynote speakers, coaching sessions, a case competition, and leadership awards.
Education NAWMBA is dedicated to providing educational opportunities to propel women into leadership positions across America. NAWMBA's Educational Program has four focus areas:
- Scholarships: NAWMBA is dedicated to increasing female enrollment in MBA programs across America. More women MBAs means more women in corporate leadership positions in the future. NAWMBA is dedicated to supporting outstanding female candidates with scholarships that will reduce the cost of their business education. In 2009, NAWMBA will launch a scholarship program for women entering MBA programs as well as women who are currently enrolled in business schools. Candidates for these scholarships must show a strong academic standing and proven leadership skills.
- Newsletter: NAWMBA produces a monthly newsletter that provides educational articles on diversity, leadership, career opportunities, career management, and corporate and executive profiles. The newsletter also updates members on upcoming events.
- Webinars: NAWMBA realizes the need for women to continue learning after business school. To respond to that need, webinars are hosted on topics of interest to professional women across America.
